Advanced Strings, Winds, Brass,
and Percussion Players

to Audition for KVYSO.

Audition Dates: 

    Tuesday, September 2nd (For KVYO)  4:00 PM -  6:00 PM

    Tuesday, September 9th (For KVYS)   6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

There is no fee to audition.

We regularly hold auditions in January, June, and September. You are also welcome to audition at any time. Please contact Lori Scheck at info@kvyso.org.

All students (KVYS and KVYO new and returning): complete the AUDITION AND REGISTRATION FORM. As soon as we receive your submission, we will send you an audition time.

1. SCALES - All instruments: 1, 2, or 3 octave scale of your choice.   

2. SOLO -  Choose 2-3 minutes of two contrasting pieces to show your beautiful tone and attention to musical detail.

3. SIGHT READING - Ssight-reading will be provided at your audition.
