Meet the KVYO Conductor

We are so pleased that Daniel Keller conducts the Kennebec Valley Youth Orchestra.  Mr. Keller’s dedication to music education and the development of young musicians is well-known in Central Maine and beyond.  He has been inducted into both the Maine Music Educators Association Hall of Fame and the National Music Hall of Fame for Music Educators.  His conducting career includes work with the Bangor Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Portland Junior Youth Ensemble; he is currently Co-Conductor of the Mid Maine Youth Orchestra and on staff at Southern Maine String Camp.  His playfulness & exuberance – and his commitment to mentoring young musicians – shine in his work with students of all ages.
